Plan República: FANB will protect the integrity of electoral centers, material and voters in the 23-N communal consultation

The Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), together with law enforcement agencies and in support of the National Electoral Council (CNE), carries out Operation Republic 2025 throughout Venezuelan territory, in order to guarantee security during the National Popular Consultation to be held in Venezuela on Sunday, November 23.

The Republic Plan, after the distribution of electoral material and instruments to guarantee the normality of the electoral process and the necessary elements of the fourth consultation, where 5,336 Community Circuits participate, maintains the surveillance and protection of the electoral centers, staff and voters.

The deployment includes inhospitable areas of the Republic, where the people will also demonstrate in democracy in this new election. The actions are carried out according to the established schedule, which guarantees the presence for pre-election logistics and security, during the elections and subsequent moments.

As part of the plan, the FANB activated all the Strategic Regions for Integral Defense (Redi), as well as the Integral Defense Zones (Zodis), authorities said on social media.

Article 5 of the Law on Electoral Processes states that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces will provide support to the Electoral Power, in order to protect the security of voters, in addition to ensuring the order, custody, transfer and protection of electoral material and instruments.
