PNB and SENAMECF strengthen alliances for civil servant training

The National Service of Medicine and Forensic Sciences (SENAMECF), in coordination with the Department of Education of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB), offered a discussion on medicine and forensic sciences within the framework of Citizen Security, with the objective of training police officers with an exchange of knowledge and experience.
The topics addressed were: Legal Foundations of SENAMECF, Forensic Pathology, Forensic Legal Medicine, Forensic Photography, Toxicology, Dentistry and Forensic Anthropology, a SENAMECF press release review.
The commissioner general of the Scientific, Criminal and Criminal Investigations Corps (CICPC), Bermis Martínez, indicated that this experience will instruct CPNB officials about the relevance of auxiliary sciences in forensic medicine, “and thus apply knowledge to the optimal performance of police functions” as is the case of the chain of custody process, corpse removal procedure and protection of evidence to guarantee integrity and reliability of investigations.
Por for their part, the representatives of the CPNB expressed their gratitude for the initiative and expressed their interest in continuing with joint training programs.
The discussion seeks to standardize protocols and procedures, in order to optimize research work for the benefit of citizens.
Esta activity reaffirms SENAMECF's commitment to the professionalization of its officials and the strengthening of justice in the country.
