PNB apprehended three individuals for illegal drug trafficking

Officials attached to the Canine Division of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB) carried out a saturation and containment device on Libertador Avenue, Patepalo sector, Lara state, where they managed to arrest three citizens allegedly linked to the sale and distribution of drugs.

The Ministry of People's Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP) specified that “the officers spotted an expresso-type vehicle, brand Volvo, white color, which adopted an evasive attitude when they noticed the police presence. After raising their voices out loud and identifying themselves as active officials of the CPNB, a body and vehicle inspection was carried out .”

The result of this review was the seizure of 12 drug pans, so the procedure was placed under the order of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
