Members of the Bolivarian National Police, stationed in Anzoátegui state, thwarted an alleged kidnapping of a newborn from the César Rodríguez Hospital in Guaraguao.

According to the publication of the newspaper Úlmas Noticias (UN), the uniformed officers managed to arrest a woman who posed as a patient, “arrived at the emergency area, accompanied by another woman and a man, with alleged bleeding”, and then entered the pediatric area and took a newborn and tried to leave the hospital.

At the time of the capture, it was confirmed that the woman was not pregnant, so she was placed under the order of the Public Ministry (MP), together with another citizen.
