Popular Power in civic-military union demonstrates organization through the Peace Quadrants

This Friday, in the framework of National Firefighter Day, the sectoral vice-president of Policy, Public Security and Peace, took a tour with the Deputy Minister for Risk Management and National Director of Civil Protection and Disaster Management, Admiral Juan Carlos Oti Paituvi, from the state of La Guaira to verify the organization for the protection of the people.

From the manufacture of specialized suits for the Fire Department of the Capital District, to the essential equipment, they were exposed by members of the agency to the authorities.

Nereida Rodríguez, the comptroller's spokesperson for the Guaicamacuto Community Council, with regard to the Civic-Military Union, reported how they have been deployed, through the Peace Quadrants, in preventive work in communities in the face of natural disasters

“We have the support of President Nicolás Maduro to prevent any disaster by cleaning the basins, our firefighters and Civil Protection are always on the subject of training with our spokespersons to prevent in time,” said the spokeswoman

In this regard, Cabello stressed that “about 10 days ago we were with the president (Nicolás Maduro) shaping the Peace Quadrants defined according to communal circuits and communes”

“People think that the Peace Quadrants refer only to security and that's not the case, in the Commune there are risk spokespersons, the People are already taking the forecasts well in advance; the day the president came, we handed over at least one motorcycle to each Peace Quadrant and every four Peace Quadrants there is a patrol under the command of the Communes and the communal circuits,” stressed the Sectorial Vice President for Policy, Public Security and Peace.
