In the Simón Bolívar sector, parish of Santa Cruz in the municipality of Maturín, state of Monagas, the Bolivarian Integral Committees were established, framed in the organizational initiative promoted by the National Executive in the communities.
Yenny Oliveros, a participant in the assembly, valued the initiative as a tool to expand territorial work structures, strengthen collective action and facilitate the participation of residents in addressing issues such as health and services. “It's a way to spread the word about the effort that's already taking place in the streets,” he said.
For its part, Alvenis Plaza stressed that this articulation makes it possible to energize the search for solutions to local problems, adding more actors at the same time. “One person is not the same as five working in parallel. In this way, processes are accelerated and response capacity is expanded,” he said.
The day is part of the process of empowering popular power, which aims to consolidate spaces for community management and direct action in the territories.
