The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, announced this Thursday that the project for the completion of the Cable Car System that connects Caracas to La Guaira, from the Warairarepano National Park, will be reactivated.
During her program Maduro Live de Repente, the head of state instructed the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, to liaise with the governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán, and the mayor of the Vargas municipality, José Manuel Suárez Maldonado, who will accompany her in this major project.
“I was in Galipán these days walking with Cilita, on the 24th in the morning, and I saw all the basic structure of the first stage, it's there, what's left is to complete the infrastructure, get the trolleys we have, get the cool things we know how and sooner rather than later to resume this project and give Gran Caracas and La Guaira the cable car,” he said.
