President Maduro calls for the activation of the first vertex of the Great Mission “Mother Earth Venezuela”

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, called on the country's 5,338 communal circuits and 49,000 communal councils to take action and organize themselves to learn about and face the new climate reality, fulfilling the first summit of the Great Mission “Mother Earth Venezuela”.

In an audiovisual material released by the head of state through his social networks, he stressed that this new challenge is designed in seven axes, ranging from popular organization to face the climate emergency; mass planting as an act of resistance and life; the sacred protection of our hydrographic basins; the development of scientific capacities to read the climate; the loving defense of our wildlife, the comprehensive sanitation of our homeland and economic transformation towards ecosocialism.

“We must know the new climate reality and know, debate and perfect at the highest level the 7 vertices of the Great Mission 'Mother Earth Venezuela',” urged the national president. He also explained that the first task is aimed at organizing and training to know and face the new climate reality, “being the essential organization to move forward.”

This organizing and meeting action requires the activation of ecosocialist leadership in all communes and the organization of what have been called “ecosocialism science and technology councils in each of the communal councils and communal circuits”. In addition, he stressed that it is planned that by “December 19, the ecosocialist committees should be organized in the 5,338".
