President Maduro: Chávez vindicated the generation of the 60s

The Head of State, Nicolás Maduro, held a meeting this Monday, September 2, with the members of the Five Generations of the Bolivarian Revolution, at which he stated that “Chávez vindicated the generation of the 60s”.
In his words, the Head of State commented that “Commander Hugo Chávez made visible and vindicated the members of the cultural resistance and all those who are part of this group.”
He emphasized that the generation of the 50s and 60s had been called chiriperos and historically ignored. “This generation is made up of those who never gave themselves up and signed with their blood an eternal pact of perseverance to carry out the socialist revolution in Venezuela (...) When someone falters, think of those men and women who are the essential ones, honor and glory to the forerunner generation!”
