President Maduro: Commander Chávez urges us to continue to guarantee the sovereignty of the Homeland

On the 13th anniversary of Commander Hugo Chávez's monumental campaign closure, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, shared a heartfelt message to commemorate one of the most impactful political events in the history of Venezuela.

“#4Oct! We remember with immense emotion the miracle of the “Cordonazo de San Francisco”. On that blessed day, 13 years ago, our people filled seven avenues of Caracas to star in the most impactful, powerful and largest mass political event in our entire history,” he said through his Telegram channel.

He also recalled that this was the last public act of the Leader of the Bolivarian Revolution; at the same time, he stated that with the same force as 13 years ago, the Commander continues to push us to guarantee the sovereignty of the Fatherland and to continue walking a victorious path with the People.

“Commander Chávez, we tell you with the certainty of victory: your sons and daughters, your loyal soldiers and soldiers, we are standing, guaranteeing the independence and sovereignty of the Fatherland. His spirit impels us to continue on this glorious path. Chávez lives in every triumph of our people!” , he said.
