President Maduro consolidates national production by creating the Ezequiel Zamora National Peasant Union

This Saturday, September 20, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, participates in the Founding Congress of the National Peasant Union Ezequiel Zamora (UNCEZ),

The activity, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, is carried out in the state of Aragua, whose purpose is to strengthen and consolidate national vegetable, bovine, pig, sheep and poultry production.

The head of state participated in a walk with the state's peasants and peasants and this confirms his commitment to the country's agricultural and peasant sector, as well as the importance of the union, history and organization of rural producers for national development.

This congress begins a new union that promotes the rural sector, with the purpose of unifying all peasant movements under a single organizational structure.

This new structure, whose instruction began in July 2025, is based on peasant councils and will be governed by the principles established in the Land Law and the Organic Law on Agrifood Security and Sovereignty.
