President Maduro: Conuco is our concept of regenerative agricultural economy

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro oversaw this Thursday, September 25, the diversified production and local entrepreneurship of the Productive Community El Legado de Chávez in Miranda state.
In this context, he insisted that “the conuco is applied as our concept of regenerative agricultural economy of agroecological production”.
This was stated in the Self-Government Chamber of the aforementioned Commune, in the La Cortada sector, in El Guayabo, Guaicaipura municipality, in Miranda, where he led a Thursday day of Communal Productive Power.
“This commune, like all communes, Commander Chávez insisted that they must be productive communes,” he stressed during his tour of the space to learn about the progress of agricultural and self-management tasks that promote food sovereignty in the town.
He argued that the People, in their innate rebellion against imperialism and the oligarchy, has turned them into a creative force.
The commune, which includes 1,160 families through 12 communal councils, stands out for its productive capacity, in the areas of coffee, as well as other essential for food sovereignty, such as cambur, chives, coriander, broccoli, ocumo and yam.
