President Maduro: Donald Trump has a golden opportunity to pacify the world

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, considered the victory won by Donald Trump “opens up a golden opportunity for him to pacify the world, to change its relationship with Latin America and the world.”

“It's a historic opportunity... to end wars, not to open more war fronts,” he said.

He stressed that an opportunity is opening up that “allows us to have relations of respect, wisdom, dialogue and understanding with all of Latin America and the entire Caribbean. Relationships that respect diversity in our Continent”.

He made the statement on his program “Maduro Live Suddenly”, where he noted that in his election campaign Trump “offered not to open war fronts anywhere on the planet, it was the main offer, he said it yesterday in his speech.”

“I saw everything about the United States elections, everything,” he said.

In addition, the head of state congratulated the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil and his team at the Foreign Ministry, since they handed him a document, “where I was right I would say that 98% of his projection was given to me last week, impressive study, knowledge”.
