The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, announced that Venezuela, in the last quarter of the year, has expectations of sustained economic growth, peacebuilding and productive expansion in various strategic sectors.

He reaffirmed that “Venezuela is not stopped by anything or anyone” with the harmonious functioning of the country's 13 economic engines.

“The 13 engines are growing with their own lungs, in the coming days there will be surprises for the country and for those who have bet on hurting Venezuela,” he said.

During the event of Defense of the Sovereignty and Peace of Venezuela, Latin America and the Caribbean, Territories of Peace, held in the Elliptical Hall of the Federal Legislative Palace, in Caracas, from where he addressed the nation, he explained that “the last quarter of the year has to be better than the previous two.”

“The goal is to achieve economic growth of 9% in 2025, after having achieved 7.7% in the first quarter. This will make it possible to increase national wealth, expand the supply of products and guarantee supply,” he said.

He argued that the country has the perfect economic plan to face any disturbance. “Disturbances? We will overcome them. Investors? they are arriving in dozens to all sectors.

I always say to nationals: take advantage of 'the golilla',” he said, referring to the opportunities that open up for local entrepreneurs.

In terms of production, he highlighted the sustained growth of fishing in the Caribbean Sea and announced an investment of close to 1.5 billion dollars for the development of 300,000 agricultural hectares in the east of the country. “Venezuela will be the breadbasket of America and the world, I swear,” he emphasized.

The head of state also recalled his recent meeting with the ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Venezuela, Lan Hu, at which bilateral cooperation plans were reviewed.

China is ready to buy us all the food we produce,” he said, adding that India and Russia have also expressed interest in buying Venezuelan products.

He also highlighted that the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, held a conversation with the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, where she ratified her wide-ranging alliance with the country.
