President Maduro expresses his condolences to the Cuban people for the physical departure of Ricardo Cabricas

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, expresses his condolences to the Cuban people for the physical departure of Vice Prime Minister Ricardo Cabricas Ruiz, who died this Tuesday, September 16, a victim of a painful illness, at the age of 88.

In his account on the social network Telegram, the head of state stated: “From Venezuela I embrace the brother and noble Cuban people because of the regrettable physical departure of my friend, Ricardo Cabricas.”

He stressed that he had “a friendship of many years with Cabricas. Without a doubt, a great companion in the work for the union of peoples, a revolutionary, fighter and extraordinary human being.”

“To your family, friends and comrades my condolences. Until victory always Ricardo!” , he said.

Vice Prime Minister Ricardo Cabricas Ruiz led several ministries in the economic area, represented Cuba in the international arena; co-chaired the Intergovernmental Commissions for economic and financial relations with various countries; member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Caribbean island and member of the National Assembly of People's Power.
