President Maduro: Great Mother Earth Mission Venezuela activates reorganization of the country due to climate change

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Thursday, July 10, announced that with the launch of the Great Mother Earth Venezuela Mission, a structural line of reorganization of the way of “living our country” is beginning, to address phenomena, such as the intense rains caused by climate change.

This was stated by the Mukumbarí Cable Car System, in the state of Mérida, where he led the launch of the Great Mother Earth Venezuela Mission.

He pointed out that this is a topic that the Bolivarian Government “has been working on for a long time”, while recalling that “on the birth certificate of the Fatherland there is the thought advanced for centuries by Liberator Simon Bolivar in the preservation of the environment.”

He also stated that “we have been touring all the places affected by the heavy rains that fell in Los Andes and that hit the state of Mérida so hard on June 24 and 25.”

In this regard, he stressed that they continue to serve the 82 fronts of work in support of the people of Merida.
