President Maduro handed over the rehabilitated “Simon Bolivar I” District Early Childhood Education Center

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, this Thursday, September 18, handed over the rehabilitated District Early Childhood Education Center “Simon Bolivar I”, in the Sucre parish, in the Libertador municipality.
The delivery was made through a television broadcast, from the “Simón Rodríguez” Community Self-Government Room, in La Guaira, where he led a day of the Military Community Brigades for Education and Health (BRICOMILES), to offer the advances in the recovery of schools and the consolidation of direct democracy.
The head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, and the mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, participated in the activity.
The recovered school is an early education center that has 361 children from kindergarten, 6 months to preschool age.
In addition, the core of the Propatria Orchestra System operates there, which has 490 children and young people starting out in the different programs.
The head of state said that “the objective is to invest all the country's resources in the education of the people, in culture, in health, in housing, in the rights of the people”, without losing sight of the incorporation of the Orchestra System and the Theater Movement in all schools in the country.
Among the works carried out during the rehabilitation are the waterproofing of roofs; the repair of the hydropneumatic system; the restoration of the roof, walls and doors; the replacement of 380 luminaires; preventive and corrective maintenance of school drains; placement of reflectors in external areas and improvement of lighting in the internal corridors; restoration of bathrooms, among others.
