President Maduro honors the memory of Grand Master Armando Reverón

On the 71st anniversary of the planting of the great master Armando Reverón, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, published a message to honor the memory of this artist who knew how to capture the essence, light and magic of our Venezuela.
“With his brushes, he bequeathed us a universe of beauty that lives on the shores of La Guaira and in the souls of our people,” he said through his Telegram channel.
He emphasized that “this work, still alive and vibrating with the light of the Caribbean, is the testimony of a rebellious artist who refused to be conventional. Genuine in his being, Reverón, with his iconic Castillete and his unique vision, showed us that art is a path of freedom and deep connection with the earth”.
For this reason, he pointed out that the legacy of Maestro Reverón transcends the canvas and is an immense pride for the Fatherland. “His art challenges us and his memory inspires us to continue cultivating creativity and sensitivity in the heart of our people,” he said.
