President Maduro: In Venezuela we are building a complete democracy

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, during his program “With Maduro+”, in his 85th broadcast, emphasized the importance of the type of complete Venezuelan democracy that consults everything with the people in elections.

“The democracy we are perfecting is not only the right to choose, it's also the right to participate. On July 27, there is neighborhood consultation, communal consultation and for the first time a project will be consulted and decided that will benefit young people because what is coming for youth is irreversible,” said the head of state.

He assured that democracy in Revolution is permanent because you do what the People decide, contrary to bourgeois democracy, which chooses a candidate who, after being elected, what he does is lie, as is the norm in bourgeois democracy.

“Here it is a direct, permanent, non-delegable democracy and there is something important: a complete democracy and not a shot, limited or lying, because the big issues are decided by the elites, the leaders, that's over! In Venezuela, we are building a complete democracy,” he said.

In this regard, Jorge Rodríguez, head of the Unified Revolution Command, pointed out that the opposition mayor of Baruta is only visible through propaganda on banners and posters, denouncing candidacies manufactured under right-wing marketing strategies.

In addition, President Nicolás Maduro Moros compared the model of bourgeois democracy, which he described as sporadic and deceptive, with that of the Revolution, which he defined as direct democracy, of constant popular consultation and continuous work.
