President Maduro: May the legacy of Commander Chávez continue to be our eternal guide!

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, through his Telegram channel, commemorated the 50th anniversary of Commander Hugo Chávez's graduation from the Military Academy.

In this regard, the head of state specified that “it was half a century ago, in the sacred courtyard of our military forces, when the young man from Sabaneta de Barinas, with his chest full of happiness and pride, rose to second lieutenant, finding the mission of his life by wearing the glorious uniform of our Army. The one who was going to be the leader of the new era, of the new independence, the one who opened the doors of our country to the 21st century was graduating”.

He also indicated that this date “is a ratification of the immortality of his legacy. I say to the military youth of our FANB: in you lie the principles and values of that young man who graduated from the House of Blue Dreams. Set your sights on him, on his example, on his history, on his leadership, so that the steps you take forward are transcendent for your own history as officers, but above all, for the history of our Homeland. May the legacy of Commander Chávez continue to be our eternal guide!”
