President Maduro: Next Saturday I will present proposals for Constitutional Reform to the AN

During the 70th broadcast of the program Con Maduro+, at the beginning of its fourth season, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, reported that next Saturday, February 15, he will present to the National Assembly (AN) the fundamental proposals for Constitutional Reform, for which he asked the People for their support, in order to put an end to the bourgeois State.

“One of the vital lines is the democratization of society, the democratization of the State so that the State is all of us and ceases to be something strange, like the old colonial State, the old oligarchic State or the old bourgeois State. Let the State be the citizen,” he explained.

In this sense, he specified that for the Constitutional Reform “I need the support of the People to overturn as an average the bureaucratic apparatus, the heavy apparatus, the stagnant and corrupt apparatus of the State that we still have.”

He stated that the objective “is to transform it into a modern, humane, grassroots, democratic State. That's the goal.”

The head of state stressed that this model under construction “is not a trace, it is not a copy, it is not an imposition of anyone, it is his own creation 'Made in Venezuela'”.
