“Our people have the conscience, organization and maturity, inherited from our ancestors and strengthened by these years of struggle, to take the reins of government.”
This was emphasized by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro Moros, from the city of Cumaná where she attended the swearing in of Jhoanna Carrillo as governor of the state of Sucre for the period 2025-2029.
During his speech, the head of state urged the new Sucrense ruler to apply the formula of “less desk, more territory” to ensure the effectiveness of her management for the people of this eastern entity.
“May 25 was the beginning of a new phase of a new trajectory on the path to joining all the forces of the Sucre state,” he said, while affirming that this new phase must be marked by the unity of the national and regional government.
“We must align all policies and all actions in a plan, in a mission, it's not that the national government has one plan and the governorates another, no, here is the Homeland Plan, which is the Law of the Republic with its 7T,” he said.
- The 1x10 of Good Governance and the BRICOMILES.
- The Communal Self-Government Chamber as the main instrument of government for the governor
- The Great Missions and Missions.
- Economical engines.
- The fight for peace, justice, against terrorism, drug trafficking, the fight for peace against the mafias so that there is peace, tranquility, stability.
Finally, he recalled that this weekend all elected governors will attend a workshop organized by the National Executive to ensure compliance with this governance methodology, so he urged President Carrillo to present the Concrete Agenda for Action (ACA) of the state of Sucre.
“I need to be given the
Sucre state ACA to get on top of the prioritized issues, I know they have
come a long way,” he said.
