El Head of State, Nicolás Maduro Moros, recognized the work of Pope Francis in authorizing the canonization of José Gregorio Hernández, and Carmen Rendiles.
A through his Telegram channel, he wrote, “Pope Francis did justice! The Venezuelan people feel an immense eternal gratitude, Pope friend and brother. This beautiful celebration unites us even more in spirituality and peace, filling us with immense emotion. Let's take the best of our saints to turn it into a national value!”
