The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, ratified the ties of fraternity that unite him with the President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, with whom he talks frequently and shares impressions during international meetings where they coincide.

“We communicate on a permanent basis. All the international meetings we have reflect our admiration for that nation that has given so much to humanity,” emphasized the Head of State since the inauguration of the Venezuela International Book Fair in 2025.

He asserted that Egypt “has a lot to give to Africa, to the Middle East and to all of humanity.” “I remembered our visit to Egypt three years ago, on the occasion of the Climate Change Summit, which allowed us to pass through Cairo and have contact with so many things that one has read and known from afar: the history of Egypt,” said the Venezuelan president.

He celebrated the fact that in this edition, Egypt, as the cradle of writing and ancient wisdom, will be a special guest at FILVEN 2025.
