President Maduro ratifies friendship with the People of Bolivia

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, confirmed that Venezuela maintains close ties of friendship and respect with the people of Bolivia.

This is what he said with regard to celebrating - this Wednesday, August 6 - the Bicentenary of the Creation of Bolivia 1825-2025, an opportunity in which he added that between Venezuela and Bolivia there is a historical brotherhood that transcends time, space and overcomes any difficulty because it is based on the legacy of the Liberator Simon Bolivar and Grand Marshal Antonio José de Sucre.

“The Liberator had the most powerful army ever known. It wasn't going to conquer and plunder, it was powerful because of its military, combat capacity and it went to liberate,” he said.
