President Maduro relaunches the 7 vertices of the Venezuela Youth Mission (+ appointments)

During his weekly program Con Maduro+ on its 92nd broadcast, President Nicolás Maduro Moros took stock of the Venezuela Youth Mission and the relaunch of its vertices.

“We are going to give special impetus to these seven vertices that have been discussed in recent months and accelerate their operation. The young people of this time are living a special moment, and they have to value everything they can do for the country, for society, for our republic; it is in your hands, because it was (Hugo) Chávez who arrived and put youth at the forefront of the battles and left them a legacy that must be maintained and consolidated,” said the Head of State.

Appointment of new managers

During the relaunch, the new managers who will lead the seven vertices of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission were announced:

1: Let's learn! (Education, Science and Technology): Wilmer Vásquez

2: Let's get to work! (Production, Work, Entrepreneurship): Bellmary Landaeta

3: Let's Have Fun! (Recreation and entertainment): Niyelsy Nuñez.

4: Let's take care of ourselves! (Health and sports): María Marcano.

5: We're going to grow! (Human Cities and Public Spaces): Eirimar Malavé

6: Let's communicate! (Communication and social networks): Erick Chávez.

7: Let's participate! (Democracy): Victoria Londoño.

Education, Science and Technology

  • Scientific seedbeds.

New School: Generate a transformation in knowledge and learning based on the creation of the National School of Gastronomy, the National School of Fashion, the National School of Languages and the School of Digital Crafts, the latter will prioritize training in robotics, artificial intelligence (AI) and content creation.

In this regard, the Venezuelan President set the goal of setting up 3,000 technology and robotics centers in high schools and universities.

Young Inces. It begins with the objective of attracting 900,000 young people to be incorporated into 183 productive training plans.

Science Olympiads.

1.- Graduate Plan. Aimed at the completion of youth studies at all levels of education (basic, medium-diversified and university) to promote their inclusion in the labor field.

2.- Production, work and entrepreneurship:

The Entrepreneur Together platform opens a new portfolio dedicated to youth with a goal of caring for thousands of young people.

Sowing: Prioritizes field production, the delivery of land, equipment and supplies and seeds for 100,000 young people in the first stage of the Great Venezuela Youth Mission.

National Internship System: Its fundamental purpose is the activation of Employment Fairs every six months, as well as a Permanent Fair -online channels- so that public organizations and institutions or private companies can attract talent according to the economic sector they perform.

3.- Culture, Recreation and Rumba

Art in patios and plantations. Designed as points to promote culture and entrepreneurship from communities, at the same time generating a powerful fabric in the 335 municipalities of the country. The initial goal is set at 500 platabandas.

Fest Mustache. It includes a schedule of cultural activities (musical, theatrical and dance) to be held on holiday dates. Singing, dancing and performing arts festivals are expected to take place in each community.

Gamer Arena. An annual event that brings together young people with video game skills in order to attract new talent who, among others, pay tribute to video game design in the national territory.

Cinema Club. In addition to being a space for the collective enjoyment of cinema, it is also aimed at training young people in areas related to cinematography.

It proposes the activation of tourist packages to promote friendly tourism, as well as camping with a vision of respect for nature.

4.- Health, physical activity and sport:

I am healthy. It includes the monthly deployment of comprehensive approaches to promote comprehensive health, including diet based on the 4S scheme (healthy, safe, tasty and sovereign) and the prevention of addictions.

Always together. Aimed at creating friendship groups in the national territory to accompany those who experience mental health problems.

Let's take care of ourselves. It is a call to the awareness of young people in order to promote responsible sexual and reproductive education. In this regard, it also prioritizes plans aimed at reducing teenage pregnancies, as well as sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

National Sports System. It is intended to promote sports practice, as well as the recruitment of talent through the Open Court plan, which also includes the promotion of the care of sports facilities in communities.

5.- Life and Social Protection Project: We're going to grow!

Housing guarantee for Venezuelan youth. On this point, President Nicolás Maduro approved allocating 200,000 homes to young couples, of which 60,000 will be self-built. It also contemplates the provision of 75,000 credits for construction and the activation of a real estate policy to facilitate the rental -at affordable prices- of 50,000 homes.

Lucash Program. It projects financing, as well as the adoption of digital wallet mechanisms and the democratization of credit.

6.- Communication and social networks:

Creation of the School of Content Creators and Influencers.

Activation of the Creative Uproar Movement for the training of young people in audiovisual arts (editing and narrative).

Video Festival. Its objective is to attract young talent who make audiovisual pieces through their mobile devices. Your skill will be recognized and rewarded in each edition.

7. - Organization and participation:

Youth Zone: It is a physical space to support young people where culture is generated (recording, music and dance studios) and promotes circuits on courts, theaters and public spaces to promote encounters based on education and culture.

Country Incubator. A platform that will allow the application of projects that generate innovative solutions to critical nodes. In the first phase, it will have two editions in the months of March and August.

National Volunteer Movement. Oriented to the promotion of social work according to the area of interest of those involved.

In order to ensure the successful start of the 26 programs of the Great Young Venezuela Mission, the Head of State convened organizing days with an inclusive and unitary nature.
