President Maduro thanks the support and solidarity of his Burundian counterpart with Venezuela

The
President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, thanked
his counterpart from Burundi, Évariste Ndayishimiye, for his support and
solidarity with the People after the victory in the elections of last July 28.
“With
work and understanding, we will continue to advance our bonds of friendship and
cooperation for the well-being of our peoples. Union, brotherhood and
development!” , said the Venezuelan Dignitary on his Telegram channel.
In a
statement, the Government of Burundi confirmed its desire to work with President
Maduro to maintain and strengthen bilateral relations, “even more so for the mutual
benefit of our respective peoples.”

re-election as President of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela affords me
the pleasant opportunity to extend my warmest congratulations to His Excellency and to the friendly Venezuelan people.
Their
commitment, generosity and perseverance in defending their country's sovereignty
have prompted their compatriots to renew their exceptional leadership to
continue their mission of ensuring the unity, development and well-being of their country's citizens
.
I would like to
take this opportunity to express my appreciation for the excellent
relations of friendship and cooperation that so happily exist between the
Republic of Burundi and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, and my desire to
work with you to maintain and strengthen them even more for the mutual benefit of our respective peoples.
