President Maduro: The four components of the FANB are a single force

President Nicolás Maduro emphasized that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) is made up of four components, but it is a single force.

During the Venezuelan military parade, to commemorate 214 years of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence of Venezuela and Day of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces, he recalled that in addition to the four components, there are eight regions of comprehensive defense, 32 zones of comprehensive defense, 99 areas of comprehensive defense and 5,338 defense centers in the country.

In his speech, the Head of State broke down the meaning of the FANB: “Force in motion, in exercise, in training, forging itself on the ground and freeing Venezuela from violent criminal gangs ready to respond to any threat”.

“Armed, well armed with the maximum technology to which we are entitled and that we are going to build and have as our Commander Hugo Chávez taught us,” he said.

As for Nacional, he said that it is the concept of the Great Homeland. “We don't mess with anyone, we are a peaceful, noble country, but let no one mess with Venezuela,” he added.

“Bolivarian completes the perfect equation, because we know what the Liberator Simon Bolivar did, it is the backbone of existence,” he said.

Maduro stressed that the Bolivarian National Armed Forces are increasingly moralized, more organized and more powerful.
