President Maduro: The Government is making steady progress in providing care to the people with quality medical personnel

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, stressed that the Bolivarian Government is making steady progress in the area of health, “to serve the Venezuelan people with quality medical personnel. Let's take care of people with love.”

The statement was made by the head of state, from Higuerote, Miranda state, during a contact with the state of Zulia, on the occasion of the reinauguration of the Bolivarian Hemodialysis Unit of the Maunel Noriega Trigo Hospital, regarding which he considered that “a person with kidney problems must be treated with great understanding and we give him quality of life in this unit”.

In this regard, the head of state stressed the need to follow “the moral, ethical and professional example of San José Gregorio Hernández, health personnel must take care of people with love.”

He recalled that the People's Doctor “was one of the great scientists of the 20th century, he was the first to bring all the microscope techniques to the country and made great scientific contributions that he left for posterity.”

“The goat (God) is watching us and for all the harm we do here, you will pay for it there (...) because it is good here, it is good here. Let's do good in the name of Almighty God,” he said.

For his part, from the municipality of San Francisco in the state of Zulia, the governor of the entity, Luis Caldera, delivered the aforementioned Hemodialysis Unit fully rehabilitated.

He detailed part of the new equipment that the region has for the effective medical care of patients with kidney problems, as well as two more dialysis units that will soon be put at the service, disposal and benefit of the people of Zulia.
