President Maduro: The light of Fidel and Chávez is more on than ever

“To the people of our beloved Cuba, I say: today we must be more united than ever in the struggle, in the resistance against the supremacists of the gringo empire, against the immoral mafias that attack the Peoples of the world, against those who want to force a new imperialist hegemony on a roll.”

This was the call made by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, from the Miraflores Palace, where he received a delegation from Cuba as part of the events to commemorate the 99th anniversary of the birth of Commander Fidel Castro Ruz.

The head of state emphasized that in order to fight this battle, the revolutionaries of Cuba and Venezuela have the tools to resist and win.

“We have values, we have history, we have people and we have a historical project and, if something were missing, the light of Fidel and (Hugo) Chávez is more on than ever and so do we have it,” he said while instructing Executive Vice President Delcy Rodríguez to support the preparations for the centenary of the leader of the Cuban Revolution.
