President Maduro to FANB officials: Let us maintain the moral high ground and a combative example

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, called on the junior and senior officers of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) to maintain a “moral high and combative example” to ensure the defense of our country.

During the act of greeting the military institution, the Head of State emphasized the vital importance of absolute coherence between thought, speech and action to ensure a perfect result in actions to protect our sovereignty and territorial integrity.

“We have military thinking, we have military doctrine, this was written in handwriting by our Supreme Commander, Hugo Chávez Frías. We have morals,” emphasized the president.

In this regard, Maduro highlighted how, with the coming to power of President Chávez, “the Bolivarian dream and ideals” re-emerged, which were embodied in our Constitution.
