President Maduro to his Honduran counterpart: The Great Homeland will not be lost in our hands

The president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, expressed his support for his counterpart from Honduras, Xiomara Castro, in the face of recent coup maneuvers directed by the United States (USA) against the Central American nation.

“The Great Homeland will never be lost in our hands, imperialism and the international right must understand once and for all that the time of colonialism is over, that now it is a time for free peoples,” said the Venezuelan head of state through a message published on his Telegram channel.

He ratified that “the Bolivarian people sympathize with just causes under all circumstances, especially when North American imperialism lurks in its attempt to recolonize the continent. The peoples of Latin America are alert.”

The Venezuelan dignitary shared images of the massive mobilization of the Honduran people in Tegucigalpa, and subscribed to the words of the Honduran president: “True independence does not stop until victory is achieved, and we will win. A warm hug!”
