President Maduro: Today the popular armies are deployed to protect our Homeland

This Saturday, September 20, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, emphasized that the territory, sky and sacred seas of the Fatherland are cared for in perfect popular-military-police union, in the face of aggressions and threats from the North American empire.

“Today the popular armies are deployed to ensure that Venezuela is never touched by the invading and criminal Yankee, Venezuela can never be touched by the North American empire; the sacred soil of the Fatherland, the sacred seas of the Fatherland and the sacred sky of the Fatherland must be cared for in perfect popular-military-police union,” he said during the Founding Congress of the National Peasant Union Ezequiel Zamora in Aragua.

He also reaffirmed the importance of the unity and loyalty that Commander Hugo Chávez taught us for the defense of our territory. “We have always defeated the curse of treason; it is defeated, crushed and buried; here what has been imposed and will always be imposed will always be the absolute loyalty of a People to their Homeland and the victorious union on a permanent march,” he said.

He emphasized that for this reason the People united in perfect popular-military-police union have appropriated the slogan that today shouts out loud: “Always loyal, never traitors”.

In this regard, representatives of the peasant sector reaffirmed their commitment to the defense of the Homeland under any circumstance.
