President Maduro: Venezuela and Cuba must jointly defend the truth of our Peoples

This Friday, September 19, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, highlighted the need to unite the capacities of Venezuela and Cuba in terms of “defending the truth of our countries in the world, together.”

“Much more can be done to denounce the serious violations of international law committed against the People of Cuba and the People of Venezuela, against the People of Nicaragua, against the Peoples of ALBA. Much more can always be done,” he said.

This was stated by the head of state at the Miraflores Palace, where he received the Delegation of the Government of Cuba, “it is necessary to learn inventiveness, collective intelligence, permanent initiative.”

“I am sure that by combining our capacities and experiences, we will take the original project of the great Bolivar and the giants Fidel and Chávez to a higher level. The original project that we claim as a great flag,” he said.

He also stated that “we are moved by love, but by the love of warriors, we are warriors of love and of the Great Homeland, fierce warriors of the Great Homeland, make no mistake about the immoral and corrupt mafias that attack us from the north, because we are fierce warriors of love and peace”.

He also expressed the need to refine training plans in coordination with the Cuban education system, with the purpose of consolidating the youth leadership of both organizations.

In the same way, he stressed the importance of increasingly strengthening the unity of patriotic youth in all spaces, as a way to guarantee the continuity of revolutionary leadership.
