President Maduro visited the Cathedral and Archdiocesan Museum of Mérida

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, together with the first Combatant Cilia Flores, took a tour of the Cathedral and Archdiocesan Museum “Antonio Ramón Silva García” in Mérida, which was guided by Monsignor Helizandro Terán Bermúdez.
“During this visit,
we had a close encounter with the Creator Father, whom we asked to
continue to bless the people of Merida,” said the head of state on his Telegram channel
, in which he shared images of the visit to this important architectural and religious
monument for the Andean entity.
The visit to the Cathedral and Archdiocesan Museum of Mérida was part of the agenda of the National President in the region after the launch of the Great Mother Earth Venezuela Mission.
“The Cathedral of Mérida is a place of deep spirituality, great historical and religious value that invites reflection by all parishioners. God bless Mérida and Venezuela!” , he said.
The Cathedral and the Archdiocesan Museum “Antonio Ramón Silva García” is
one of the most important in Mérida for its religious and artistic collection. In addition,
it has three rooms: one dedicated to the Ave María and San Pedro bells, another to liturgical
objects and the last one that houses an indigenous mummy.
