President Maduro visits Miguel Montes Socialist Mission Base in La Guaira

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, visited the Miguel Montes Socialist Mission Base to promote the implementation of the 7 Transformations of the Homeland Plan.

The head of state and the first lady Cilia Flores de Maduro were welcomed by the more than 13,700 inhabitants of the Socialist Commune Todos Somos Mirabal, community spokespersons, the Minister of Popular Power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, Ángel Prado; governor of the state of La Guaira, José Alejandro Terán; the mayor of the Vargas municipality, José Manuel Suárez Maldonado; among other authorities.

The Head of State pointed out that the commune, made up of eight communal councils, totals more than 3,000 families in the sector, which carry out continuous work, through the Government of Community Self-Management.
