President Nicolás Maduro received opposition mayors at the Miraflores Palace

The President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, received this Wednesday, August 13, the opposing mayors in the Simon Bolivar Hall, in the Miraflores Palace, to hold a working meeting under the principles of mutual respect and working together.
In this regard, in a review of Venezolana de Televisión, he points out that last July, after the municipal elections, the Head of State sent a message to the mayors of the new opposition, with the objective of extending his hands as “Worker president and ordinary man”, to work on a single plan, the development of the country.
In addition, the Presidential Press, on its website, highlights that the head of state urged regional and local authorities, such as governors and members of the Community Councils, to be part of a team that seeks the same purpose, impulse, peace, democracy and national coexistence.
At this meeting, President Maduro was accompanied by the First Combatant, Cilia Flores; the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez; Jorge Márquez, Sectorial Vice President of Public Works and Services; the Minister of Popular Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán; the Executive Secretary of the Federal Government Council, Leonardo Montezuma; the Minister of Popular Power, among other authorities.
