This Thursday, August 07, the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, received the governor of the state of Cojedes, José Alberto Galíndez, with the firm intention of continuing to work for the welfare of the country.

In a review from the Presidential Press, he points out that the meeting was held at the Aquiles Nazoa Cultural House, in Caracas.

It should be noted that the head of state invited the opposing mayors and governors, who were elected in the last elections of May 25 and July 27, to work together, peace, democracy and national coexistence.

This Wednesday, 06, when the Federal Government Council (CFG) was constituted in the Miraflores Palace, the National President reported that, as a member, the governor of the state Cojedes, who had already been a member of this secretariat, would be among those appointed.

In this scenario, she explained that, with the installation of the CFG, governors, governors, mayors and mayors have the task of firmly supporting the People's Power in the execution of their projects, with professional advice, machinery and economic resources.

President Maduro also stressed that, in addition to the mayors' victory, there has been the birth of a new Venezuelan opposition that “has the obligation to govern well”.
