President Nicolás Maduro, in the 81st edition of his Con Maduro+ program, highlighted the weekend premiere of the documentary “The Kueka Stone”, which reflects the ancient memory of the Venezuelan people.

“The story of the Kueka stone, considered by the Pemone peoples as a living grandmother, with spirit and partner, becomes a symbol of resistance and national union,” said the head of state.

He recommended that Venezuelans go to the country's movie theaters to learn about the struggle for the repatriation of the Kueka stone, considered a sacred being by the Pemón people, who remained outside Venezuelan territory for more than two decades after being handed over by former president Rafael Caldera to a German sculptor.
