President of the AN to the United States: Give us back our boys!

The president of the National Assembly (AN), Jorge Rodríguez, urged the Government of the United States (USA) to return the children kidnapped in that country. “Give back our boys and girls, they are ours, they are Venezuelans and we are sure they will come back!” , Rodríguez exclaimed during the March for Children's Freedom that took place in Caracas.

Rodríguez called on the Venezuelan people not to faint and to remain mobilized in the streets in defense of the rights of the 31 infants, who were irregularly separated from their families by US immigration authorities.

“Thank you for your presence and support, let's not faint, we're going to stay on the streets with photos of these boys and boys, who are our boys and girls too. It doesn't matter your religion, political party, here what matters is that we are human beings and ask that our boys and girls be returned to us,” he said.

In turn, Jorge Rodríguez called for society to remain united not only for the release of children but also for the 252 Venezuelans kidnapped by the United States and imprisoned in the Center for the Confinement of Terrorism (CECOT), inaugurated in January 2023 by Nayib Bukele.
