President of the Consultative Assembly of Iran presented a wreath to the remains of the Liberator

After his arrival in Venezuela, the president of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of Iran, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, offered a wreath before the sarcophagus that holds the mortal remains of the Liberator Simon Bolivar.

The Iranian was accompanied by the Foreign Minister of the Republic, Yván Gil and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in the country.

Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf arrived in the morning and was greeted by the People's Power Minister for Foreign Affairs, who wrote on his Telegram channel 'We are pleased to extend the most cordial welcome to Dr. Mohammad Bager Galibaf, President of the Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and to sincerely thank him for his visit, which reinforces our commitment to strengthening bilateral ties, brotherhood and solidarity between our peoples, in addition to consolidating our political integration, economic and cultural in the joint struggle against the aggressions of imperialism”.
