Primero de Mayo Socialist Commune executes electrification project in Lara

“Today we see a people that is becoming more empowered, that is exercising its power in the territories thanks to the impetus that President Nicolás Maduro is giving to the Communes, today the budget is allocated to the people's projects to solve the various problems,” said Isaías Comenarez, executive spokesperson of the Primero de Mayo Socialist Commune, located in the Jiménez municipality of the state of Lara.

The Ministry of Popular Power for Communes, Social Movements and Urban Agriculture, through the National Fund Service of Popular Power, provided the necessary resources for the special project to consolidate electrification in that Commune, which is located in the Juan Bautista Rodríguez parish.

With the installation of 360 meters of power lines, 105 families in the community benefit, for which transformers, connectors, insulators, poles, among others, were purchased, which will promote the socio-economic development of the sector. “We are fulfilling Commander Chávez's dream with these actions as we are making progress in the construction of the Communal State,” Colmenarez said.

In addition, the spokesperson for the People's Power in the area called for participation in the elections of Judges and Justices of the Peace, which will be held all over the country on December 15. “We are going to the Communal Peace Justice where we will pacify communities and we can all live better in greater harmony,” he said.
