This Tuesday, authorities from Conglomerado Productivo S.A (CPSA), a company attached to the Ministry of Popular Power for Industry and National Production, visited the Venezuelan design company Cardumen Modas, located in Catia, Sucre parish, in order to learn about and have a permanent approach with these companies and to make visible and promote national production in the textile sector.
In this regard, Héctor Bravo, president of Conglomerado Productivo S.A., explained that the objective of this visit was to achieve continuous rapprochement with companies in the textile sector, “as is the case with this experience of colleague Grecia Monges, as well as to be able to work together and make visible the good that the textile economic sector does, a very productive sector for our country, since it is the second need of people, clothing”.
Bravo added that they are also looking for meeting points to advance according to the seasons of the year, “to the needs of our population and that we, from the Bolivarian Government, want to highlight the talent of our women, who can very well supply a good part of the national market.”
For her part, Gracia Monges, director of the Venezuelan design brand Cardumen Modas, said she was very happy with this visit “which serves to corroborate our entire production and creative process and capabilities for the upcoming commercial schedules that are being established in order to boost domestic production, or what has been done well in Venezuela.”
He added that the idea is to finish organizing the sector so that we can meet all of us who continue with the design and tailoring workshops that are still active at least in the city of Caracas and at the national level in order to present proposals that really have the quality and offer to commercial chains, both private and the public sector, and thus be able to dress the Venezuelan people.
These actions are based on the first T, the Economic Transformation, promoted by President Nicolás Maduro and promoted by the Minister of Popular Power for Industries and National Production, Alex Saab, with the purpose of strengthening national production and the country's economy.
