PSUV declared itself in defense of Peace and President Nicolás Maduro (+statement)

The United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) declared this Monday, through a statement, that it remains permanent in the defense of peace and President Nicolás Maduro, regarding recent terrorist acts by fascist sectors in the country led by María Corina Machado, with the logistical and political support of US imperialism.

“The United Socialist Party of Venezuela, as the political vanguard of the Bolivarian Revolution, the party of Commander Chávez and President Nicolás Maduro, while repudiating the terrorist plans of national and international fascism against our Homeland,” he said.

He reaffirmed “that we are and will be at the side of our President and our People under any circumstance and we call on all men and women who love Venezuela to mobilize and to be alert to confront and defeat terrorist plans with the popular-military-police fusion.”

He also denounced that “these acts show the desperation of those who renounced politics, democracy and decided on the path of violence, blood and death to destroy the dreams of the Venezuelan people to live in peace and dignity with our Bolivarian socialist project.”
