The Public Library Network announced the winners of the Manuel Rodríguez Cárdenas regional literature contest in Yaracuy state, which recognized the best works in the children's, youth and adult categories.
In this regard, during an event held in the
multipurpose room of the cultural institution, located in San Felipe, the director of the entity's
Institute of Culture, Franklin Gutiérrez, shared his
satisfaction with this literary celebration that seeks to promote the habit of
writing and reading among the Yaracuan community.
He also mentioned that more than 60
literary works were received, an increase compared to the previous year, and highlighted the
importance of reading in the development of critical thinking.
These are the winners in the children's category: Gabriel Medina won with From Imagination to Paper; Melissa Anzola took second place with The Presumed Girl and Carlos Gil third with Love to the Book.
In the youth category, the winners are: Sthpanni Coronado won with Ecos de
Papel; Junaelys Reyes was second with El
Caballero ABC and Adrián Herrera third with The Poem I Can't Read”.
While in adults they are: Rudy
González won with My Connection with the Library ;
Humberto Monserrat placed second with Aroma of My Adolescence; and
Román Guedez third with Alma, the essence that looked beyond the ordinary.
