In a statement, the Public Ministry (MP) announced that 177 revisions of measures have been agreed to for defendants involved in the violent acts that occurred on July 29-30.

In this regard, it was announced that with these releases, the number of 910, promoted by the National Government, is reached.

The Public Ministry reports that on a new day of evaluation of judicial cases linked to post-electoral violence, in coordination with the Judiciary, 177 revisions of measures have been agreed to be revisions to defendants after the serious events that were intended to generate a civil war following the presidential elections of July 28.

With these new approved requests, the number of 910 releases made within the framework of due process guaranteed by the Constitution of the Republic is reached.


The Public Ministry will continue the process of thoroughly reviewing these cases in defense of Peace, Justice and Human Rights.
