Public Ministry charged subject with cable theft on Paseo de la Cruz and the Sea in Puerto La Cruz

The Attorney General of the Republic, Tarek William Saab, reported that the Anzoátegui State Attorney's Office, through the First Prosecutor's Office (1st) with Competence in Common Crimes, was arrested to be charged with the subject Jovanni de Jesús Rodriguez, for the theft of 80 meters of cable that are part of the installation of lights and Christmas arrangements, located on the Paseo de la Cruz and the Sea of Puerto la Cruz.
The arrest was made possible thanks to the constant surveillance and monitoring ordered by Mayor Jesús M arcano Tábata, through the use of the Peace Quadrants and the city's CCTV system.
The Office of the Prosecutor reiterates its commitment to act decisively against crimes that violate the public heritage and cultural traditions of the community, ensuring that these acts receive the punishment provided by law.
