Regional government and popular power activate communal emergency system with motor-ambulance in Anzoátegui

Through joint work between the regional government and popular power, a free emergency medical transportation service system was activated in the 4F-92 Comandante Eterno Hugo Rafael Chávez Frías commune in the Simón Bolívar municipality, in the state of Anzoátegui.

The first unit, adapted to serve as a vital assistance vehicle, directly benefits more than 30,000 inhabitants and will also provide its services to six health centers, 10 educational units, seven sports spaces and three government entities that are in sectors grouped into 17 community councils.

According to regional press reports, the Secretary of the Self-Government Chamber, Alejandro Galindo, stressed that the vehicle guarantees 24-hour pre-hospital care for short transfers to health centers located in the area of the commune.
