Rehabilitation work on the La Trinidad bridge, located on the José Antonio Páez highway, in the Portuguese state, is 92% complete.

This was announced by the Minister of Transport, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, who indicated that the structure will be “enabled in the next 15 days”.

According to information published on the web portal of the newspaper Último Noticias, this bridge completely collapsed on 25 June, due to the overflow of the Ospino River.

It merited the closure of the vehicle passage at the La Flecha distributor that connects the municipalities of Araure, Turén, Esteller and Ospino, so an alternative road was opened on Troncal 005.
