The governor of the Bolivarian state of Aragua, Joana Sánchez, said that in Maracay there is the positive energy of a plan in conjunction with all the mayors and the regional government that will be built starting next July 27.
“In Aragua we are going to rise up with a plan with the 18 mayors and closing the virtuous circle. Today we are deeply grateful for the efforts being made from the grassroots and we ask them to fine-tune the 5x5 militancy and we are going to speak to the People and continue to touch hearts. Let us be noble, respectful and may peace continue to reign this July 27 ,” he said on the closing day of the campaign for the mayoral elections as well as for the youth projects of the coming Sunday, July 27.
Sánchez said that “we'll see you on the 27th to celebrate that the 18 mayors will remain in the hands of popular power.”
For his part, the candidate for re-election to the mayor of Girardot, Rafael Morales, said that the real will of the people of Maracay and Choroní requires profound changes in management and President Maduro has already given the pattern of less desk and more territory. “We have to change the real paradigm and it's time to govern by and for our people and stop talking about obedient power lightly, it's really fulfilling what has been collected in the streets of Maracay to consolidate the communal state.”
